  11. GCFiler is a serious research tool for the family genealogist. It was
  12. designed to answer a need to correlate large amounts of detailed
  13. source information quickly. With GCFiler, you can convert standard
  14. GEDCOM files to standard ASCII format which allows you to load GEDCOM
  15. files to databases, spreadsheets and word processors.

  17. GCFiler is self installing. All of the GCFiler files, including
  18. complete documentation, are contained in a single, self extracting
  19. program. When you run the installation program, GCF11.EXE, all of
  20. the installation chores are handled by the installer.  You may
  21. install GCFiler from any drive.  You may restart the installer or
  22. re-install GCFiler as many times as you like.

  24. GCFiler is Shareware.   This shareware version of GCFiler is not
  25. limited in any way. This version will do everything that GCFiler
  26. could do at the time that this version was released. However, because
  27. this is shareware, it may not be the most current version. Be sure to
  28. register your copy of GCFiler so that you may be kept up to date.
